I do not believe any of the negative reviews are as they say...I am a female with no car knowledge and definitely could be taken advantage of because of that. However, after being quoted what I was told by my roommate was a really expensive price to flush my trasmission fluids I tried Boradori 's and they did it for over a hundred dollars less. They also told me that my a/c was not broken and stuck on cold when the other very highly rated shop said it was and lied to say he stuck it on cold but would need it fixed. I have gone to Boradori ' s for essentially everything...60,000 mile tune-up, thermostat, oil changes (last one cost me 5 cents because of their rewards program, which was awesome ). Recently, I had a friend install an aftermarket stereo, which resulted in my a/c not working...it only blew out hot air and they got me in ASAP to fix it since it was so hot out. Never once have I been told I needed something done that wasn't true...in fact, I was away and went to a tiny shop with excellent ratings for them to simply install a new cigarette lighter. ...they barely managed to do that and in the process put fuses in wrong spots and ruined my a/c because they didn't know how to put the cover on. I now had my airbag light on, a clicking sound while steering, and my air stuck on cold. I drove back to Chico and told the guys the story...they suspected it might be broken but checked it out, re-assembled everything, fixed my steering wheel, and did not charge me a penny despite the labor and everything else. I almost forgot, they fixed my cruise control the first time I was there for free because they noticed a rat chewed a piece that they kindly replaced. As for customer service, Jeff and Mike are great...they go above and beyond to help and even have driven me home on several occasions with their complementary shuttle. I have been to about three places with near perfect ratings and have been lied to or had my car come back worse. Everyone at Boradori 's know what they are doing...they are truly good at what they do...no other shop has been correct or even competent with diagnosis and repair 100% of the time as well as being fairly priced, great people, and honest. If you want quality, correct work done from great and honest people you should go there...I have learned my lesson from the incompetent shop out of town that damaged so much during something so basic...FYI...I believe this is my first time reviewing anything on yelp; they have helped me in virtually every circumstance and were nothing but friendly and courteous!
