Repair went well, had to wait for parts but not Boradori’s fault. Staff was friendly and competent. Only complaint I had was them not knowing they’d have to set up new transmission after installing it. They ended up charging meat the end a nominal fee that they should have included to begin with.
Jeff, we were not informed by the supplier that it needed programming either (most transmissions do not). It is for situations like this that we inform customers with engine or transmission replacements to budget about 10-15% for unknown incidentals such as mounts, brittle parts that break, etc. This would certainly fall under that category. I'm so sorry that you had to wait so long for the transmission to get here only to be faced with that charge at the end. I would be happy to do the first transmission service at 50% off for the inconvenience.
